The Diablo 99-764 is a 1-11/16" premier adjustable rail and stile router bit set that features high-quality materials and is designed to last for a long time. This makes it ideal for softwood, hardwood, plywood, and other types of similar materials. Key Features
- Two router bits that create any door in 5/8" to 1-1/4" door thickness range
- Adjustable shims enable both a tight fit when using plywood panels and the ability to use thick panels ( from 5.5mm to 6.35mm ). The unique cutter geometry virtually elimantes tearout
- Top portion of cutter, including bearing and spindle, is removed to produce the front of the long tenon profile for blind tenons, through tenons, or bridle joints
- Bits feature Freud's Perma-Shield coating that reduces heat and pitch build up along with rust, and Freud's TiCo Hi-Density Carbide to maximize bit life and material finish
- Optional cutters are available for double profile doors (99-864) and glass panel doors (54-760) with variable thicknesses and long tenons for perfecting matching profiles on all doors because it's the same set of router bits
